First Book! The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

Hi Everyone! Welcome to my online book club. The idea is that we'll read a little of everything, from the popular to the literary and all the genres in between. I thought we'd start with something light and popular, since we are entering the summer months (I don't know where you are, but Atlanta has been sweltering lately!). The first book is The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. I don't know about you, but I've heard two main reactions to this book: 1) A Hitchockian thriller that you can't put down, and 2) A lackluster mystery with weak character development. I guess we'll decide! I'm guessing this will take about a week to read, so let's reconnect next Wednesday night the 24th. In the meantime, please post your comments.
